In Chinese, hide-and-seek is translated with the term cat, and since cats are flexible and changeable in real life, I exaggerated and deformed different cats to form a set of Latin alphabets and put them into a black and white checkerboard grid. Through letterpress printing, cutting, and snake binding, the final product is presented in the form of an artist's handmade book. I tried to break the limitations of traditional reading books, and wanted to emphasise the hidden pleasure of discovery in the process of 'reading'.
The 26 letters of the alphabet are presented in the form of a cat, as if they were playing a game of hide-and-seek with the reader.
